Our department strives to provide quality programming to all of our residents. We believe that working together with other community organizations, schools, and businesses is a vital component. We are excited to offer a summer camp for our youth, an after school bowling program, a music in the park series, and many more activities for our residents. Please stop back often for updates. We are always open to suggestions and ideas feel free to call our office with questions or comments.

March 17th St. Patrick's Day of course...watch as East Greenbush turns to a sea of Green, and our final one to share March 30th- Take a Walk in the Park Day..take some time to enjoy any of our parks

Camp Inspire, The Town of East Greenbush Summer Camp is BRAND NEW AND EXCITING THIS YEAR!! Click the link above for more information. We will be holding an informational night for parents and children Wednesday March 26th here at town hall in the Community Room. Bring the kids for ice cream and listen to what our program has to offer this summer!

We are excited to announce a brand new town referral list for both Youth Services and Community Volunteers. If you are a town resident in need of a service or if you would like to be included on our list; please call our office at 477-4194. Are you a youth age 13 or over with a service to offer residents for a fee or on a volunteer basis? Contact our office with your contact information and amount you charge and we will put you on our referral list.

The Town of East Greenbush Department of Community & Recreation Services is proud to announce the return of “Spring After School Bowling.” The Program will be held on Monday’s and Wednesday for 5 weeks starting March 3rd. Genet School will be on Mondays and Red Mill on Wednesdays. The program is limited to 64 bowlers per day, total between both schools. Registration is open for the program so sign up today and secure your spot! Contact The Community & Recreation Department at 477-4194 with any questions.

Summer Camp Employment Opportunity!
The Town of East Greenbush Department of Community & Recreation Services will be accepting seasonal summer employment applications beginning February 3, 2014. The department is accepting applications for camp counselors, gate keepers, life-guards. Applicants must be 16 years of age by June 1, 2014. All applications must be dropped off in person to the Community and Recreation Services Department at the East Greenbush Town Hall. 225 Columbia Turnpike Rensselaer, NY 12144 Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. Please call with any questions 477-4194.
