2008 Spring Flushing Dates

  • APR 25 - FRI - Complete Hampton Manor Water District including Lakeview Ave.
  • APR 28 - MON - Third Ave. Ext. and all streets and neighborhoods off it. Route 4 (Troy Road) and all streets and neighborhoods off it, ending at Iroquois Pl.
  • APR 29 - TUE - All neighborhoods on north side of 9& 20 between Elliot Rd and Schodack town line. Includes Huntswood Estates.
  • APR 30 - WED - All neighborhoods on south side of 9 & 20 from Schodack town line to Ridge Road. North side of 9 & 20 from Route 4 to Town Hall.
  • MAY 1 - THU - 9 & 20 from Ridge Rd to Rensselaer city line, Prospect Heights, Clinton Park, Route 151 (Red Mill Rd) from August Gate to city line including all streets and neighborhoods off it.
  • May 2- FRI - SECOND Flushing of Complete Hampton Manor Water District including Lakeview Ave.

2008 Fall Flushing Dates

  • OCT 19– FRI - Complete Hampton Manor Water District including Lakeview Ave.
  • OCT 22 - MON - Third Ave. Ext. and all streets and neighborhoods off it. Route 4 (Troy Road) and all streets and neighborhoods off it, ending at Iroquois Pl.

DURING FLUSHING PERIODS:

Flushing will begin at 8:00 am. Water pressure will be reduced for a short period. Water may become discolored due to iron and manganese deposits in the mains. Residents should limit their use of water for cooking and laundering during flushing in their areas.
