“Secure Your ID Day” Hosted in East Greenbush

East Greenbush Town Supervisor, Rick McCabe and Legislator Ginny O’Brien, Minority Leader of the Rensselaer County Legislature, have announced that free document shredding services will be offered on November 1, 2008 between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM at the Town Hall in East Greenbush.

Omega Secure-Shred, Inc., located at 650 Second Avenue in Troy, is sponsoring the free shredding service to highlight the importance of protecting discarded personal information to help prevent identity theft. Law enforcement agencies throughout the country strongly recommend that all documents containing personal information be destroyed before they are discarded. At this free document shredding event, residents may bring up to 75 pounds of paper documents to be securely destroyed.

For more information about this event please call Omega Secure-Shred, Inc. at 518-235-1056 or visit them online at www.omega-secure.com
