The Town Board has scheduled a Public Hearing for March 21st at 6:45 p.m. to consider amending the Town's Comprehensive Zoning Law to include a Sunset Clause on all Planned Development Districts and Site Plans.

The Town of East Greenbush Department of Assessment would like to remind homeowners that the filing deadline for exemptions is fast approaching. Whether you are a first time filer or need to re-file for your exemption, you will need to submit the application by March 1, 2012. First time filers for the BASIC STAR will need to submit proof of residency. For the ENHANCED STAR, you will need to provide your 2010 income tax return. For the AGED and Disabled Exemptions, you will need to provide your 2011 income. There are income requirements for these exemptions. All Town of East Greenbush offices and the Department of Motor Vehicle will be closed on Monday, January 16 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
